5/2/05 - Mountain Lion 400 4x4 Testing Continues: Monroe, WI

Testing of the Jianshe Mountain Lion 400 4x4 continued throughout the weekend in Monroe, WI.  We put the 400 to the test at the Cheese Country Trail, Brown Town Hunting Grounds and the Illinois Trail, all near Monroe, WI.  Despite the poor weather conditions (temps in the 40s and scattered showers), the 4x4 never missed a beat.  So far, performance is flawless.  The new Mountain Lion starts effortlessly and consistently, and has yet to show any signs of failure.  Shifting is smooth, the brakes are strong and the suspension is stiff enough to handle a serious load yet plush enough to provide a comfortable ride for a utility ATV.  It shifts smoothly into and out of 4WD.  It's powerful, durable and reliable.  We're in the early stages of testing, but so far the 400 is proving to be a serious workhorse.
